ENTIRE BIBLE with Chris Seeman

About this event

A Guided Tour Through the Scriptures of Judaism and Christianity with Chris Seeman

Despite the revered status it holds in faith and culture, for many people – including people of faith – the Bible is often an undiscovered country: an object of belief or disbelief, a text to be quoted or argued over, loved or despised, but rarely read or appreciated for its own sake.

The Bible is not a book; it is a library containing a thousand years of spiritual wisdom, assembled and interpreted by Jewish and Christian communities for millennia. It is also a wellspring of ideas, images and expressions that have profoundly shaped civilizations, including our own. Ignorance of the Bible is an illiteracy from which many people suffer, and our culture is the poorer for it.

Entire Bible is a study group that provides an opportunity to explore this spiritual and cultural treasury every week for as long as it takes to cover the scriptures of Judaism and Christianity in their totality. It is facilitated by Dr. Chris Seeman, a professional biblical scholar. Each session involves a mixture of lecture, discussion and reflection tailored to the interests of those attending. Suggested $5 Love Offering

Entire Bible is non-denominational, and one does not need to be religious to participate. Its goal is understanding. All are welcome!
