  • A new overnight warming shelter opened today in Akron to offer a safe, warm space for residents during cold winter nights — city officials said the facility is part of ongoing efforts to support those in need.  Cleveland 19 News

  • GasBuddy (the fuel tracker) data released early Monday shows Akron’s gas prices rising by 1 cent to $2.71 per gallon while Cleveland’s increased slightly to $2.77, indicating steady fuel costs regionwide.  WKYC
