- ➤ On Jan. 28, tenants at Akron's Spring Hill Apartments reported a cockroach infestation that halted mail delivery, prompting management to increase pest control treatments and coordinate with USPS. The USPS said delivery will resume once the issue is resolved. Akron Beacon Journal
- ➤ Amid the ongoing deep freeze, Akron's warming centers and shelters have reached full capacity, providing meals, bedding & essential services to residents with urgent heating needs. - ➤ Several Akron school districts will receive funds through the Ohio School Bus Safety Grant Program using part of the $10 million allocated by Governor DeWine to boost student travel safety.
