- ➤ Registration for the Akron Parks Challenge is open until Feb. 23 for community leaders, residents, and organizations to pitch renovation ideas for City parks for $150,000. - ➤ Retired Akron police captain T.B. Pasko debuts his crime novel 'Knights on the Graveyard Watch', blending detective work with a science fiction twist as the first book in his 7th Precinct Series.
