- ➤ A winter weather advisory remains active until 1 a.m. today in parts of northern counties as Akron has recorded 38.1 inches of snow this winter (surpassing last year’s 34.8 inches) with 1 to 3 more inches expected. Akron Beacon Journal

- ➤ Authorities in Summit and Medina counties issued snow emergencies yesterday as snow and ice made roads dangerous. Summit County declared a Level 1 emergency (hazardous conditions with drifting snow) while Medina County set a Level 2 and urged drivers to limit travel. Akron Beacon Journal
- ➤ Ohio farmers led by Joey Ellwood are gathering signatures through mid-March to repeal Senate Bill 56 banning intoxicating hemp products in Tuscarawas County.
