- ➤ Police are asking for help finding Michael Hymer, a 64 year old man who left Summa Health around 9:45 p.m. Thursday—he suffers from medical issues, stands 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 190 pounds, has gray hair and hazel eyes, and was last seen in a gray t-shirt, dark blue or black sweatpants and white/black shoes; anyone with information is urged to call 911. - ➤ Akron Public Schools and law enforcement investigated a bomb threat letter found late Thursday near Garfield CLC — a K9 unit confirmed the bus depot was safe and a replacement bus was used Friday morning. Akron Beacon Journal

GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Akron officials announced that the expansive East Exchange Street improvement project near the University of Akron will be completed by early July — road reconstruction and sidewalk updates are underway while detours are set to help motorists. Beginning Monday, March 24, access to Brown Street from East Exchange Street will be closed for four weeks with traffic diverted along E. Exchange, Grant and E. Thornton Streets. WKYC
