- ➤ A series of cultural events unfolds this week in Akron and Cleveland, featuring Celtic Woman at Akron Civic Theatre on April 21, Broadway in Akron’s 'Stomp' on April 22-23, and David Sedaris at Keybank State Theatre on April 24 (with many more events scheduled). Akron Beacon Journal
- ➤ Akron Pizza Fest is set for Friday and Saturday, Aug. 28-29 at Lock 3 festival grounds on Main Street near the Akron Civic Theatre downtown. - ➤ GasBuddy data shows that gas prices in Akron fell 21.9 cents to $3.63 per gallon today while Cleveland dropped 15.3 cents to $3.70, yet experts warn prices may soon rise due to global oil uncertainty. WKYC
