- ➤ The Acme Fresh Market in Stow will permanently close today at 9 p.m. due to increasing competition from nearby stores, while its pharmacy stays open until May 19 for prescription transfers. Akron Beacon Journal
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Akron Public Schools and the Recreation Department will offer free breakfast + lunch for children through the Summer Food Service Program at 15 community sites from June 8 to July 31. A $300,000 contract approved by city council funds meal preparation and delivery. Signal Akron
