- ➤ The Ohio State Highway Patrol said 11 crashes happened over Memorial Day weekend, resulting in 12 deaths—down from 26 last year—and reported over 17,000 traffic stops with 400 impaired driving arrests, 70 drug arrests, and more than 2,000 seat belt citations, including three deadly crashes in Summit County.
