Good morning, Akron.

An Akron woman named Andrea Campbell called 19 Troubleshooters when lead was found in her apartment and it was deemed unsafe to live there—property managers verified the tests and arranged for her family to leave the lease while her children stayed elsewhere due to their chronic asthma and allergies. She relies on housing vouchers from Akron Housing as she waits for a safer living arrangement.

Akron weed dispensaries now offer recreational cannabis products and expert guidance for first-time visitors.

Customers must show valid ID, choose from edibles, tinctures, and flower, and follow state purchase limits — officials note that safety rules are in place.
