- ➤ Akron police are investigating a shooting that occurred on July 7 at 3 a.m. at the Mason Community Learning Center parking lot on East Exchange Street where five people were shot and at least 10 were injured when cars hit a fleeing crowd—officials are asking the public for any tips to identify persons of interest.
