- ➤ A 29-year-old pregnant woman was shot on Sunday in Akron, losing her unborn child while she remains in the hospital with significant injuries as police investigate—calling the act callous and immoral. Cleveland.com
- ➤ Kaylon Adams, 33, from Youngstown was sentenced in Summit County Common Pleas Court to life in prison—eligible for parole after 21 years—for fatally shooting Roland Williams outside the Pour House Bar in Akron in March 2024. Cleveland.com
- ➤ On Sunday morning, Akron police responded to Cleveland Clinic Akron General where they found a 29-year-old pregnant woman who was shot at around 12:30 a.m. — she lost her unborn child, remained hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, and police are still investigating with no arrests made.
