- ➤ A 13-pound fisher was found as roadkill near Kent State University in April 2024, marking the largest ever collected in Ohio. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources studied the animal as part of its effort to monitor the species' comeback after nearly 200 years - public reports continue to track additional sightings. - ➤ Summa Health and Optum/United Behavioral Health could not agree on new payment terms, so Summa removed the plan from its network on Aug. 1.
