- ➤ Popeye's Boxing Gym — located at 845 Crouse Street — is run by coaches Edward ‘Popeye’ Richardson and Craig Haines, who help build a family-like community through boxing and noncontact workouts. - ➤ Byron Johnson was found guilty of murdering Darnell McGrady at his home on Wilbeth Road in Akron in 2024—he is sentenced to life in prison with eligibility for parole after 18 years. Cleveland 19 News
