- ➤ A federal appeals court ruled on September 16 that Ohio can ban green card holders and foreign nationals from donating to statewide ballot campaigns without violating the First Amendment. The decision, which reverses a lower court ruling and sends the case back for further review, supports the 2024 law aimed at election integrity+ Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose celebrated the ruling for protecting national sovereignty.
