- ➤ Cuyahoga Falls will host its fifth annual Nightmare on Front Street event from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Oct. 18 — the family-friendly celebration features a costume contest for people and pets along with offerings from local breweries, food vendors, a DJ and fun activities for kids. - ➤ The Greater Akron area has been a filming location for 10 horror movies over the past 50 years, covering stories from zombie outbreaks to dramatic serial killer tales.
