- ➤ A $30 lottery scratch-off ticket sold at a Get Go in the 2800 block of State Rd in Cuyahoga Falls won a top prize of $80,000 a year for 25 years on November 16th. A man who bought a $2,000,000 Cashword ticket opted for a cash payout and will receive $728,750 after taxes—he plans to pay off debt, invest, and take a family vacation. FOX 8

- ➤ Akron City Council will hold a public hearing today at 5 p.m. to review a proposal to redesign the Circle K at 786 Brittain Road so that the lot facing the busy intersection becomes a park instead of a parking lot—featuring benches and a trash can to help pedestrians and bus riders. - ➤ Caroline Martin, a 10-year-old at Akron Children’s, has collected four colorful beads on her IV pole to mark each milestone in her fight against osteosarcoma since her May 31 diagnosis.
