- ➤ Kent State will discontinue 19 undergraduate programs with low enrollment effective fall 2026 & launch a student health services partnership with NEOMED starting July 1 to offer improved clinical care and advising. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Cuyahoga Valley National Park partnered with Dartmoor National Park (UK) in a partnership lasting five years that shares exchange trips, research and virtual classrooms to boost conservation and education in the community. The Conservancy plans to adapt Dartmoor’s artisan trail concept for Northeast Ohio. Akron Beacon Journal

- ➤ Since 2003, Littlest Heroes has helped children with cancer and their families by offering support and resources that ease treatment challenges in the community. Akron Beacon Journal
- ➤ A new Summit County report shows that life expectancy dropped from 78.5 years to 76.3 years between 2014 to 2018 and 2019 to 2023 largely because of COVID-19 and rising drug overdose deaths, even though access to primary care and mental health services improved. Akron Beacon Journal
