Blood drives are now open to the public. Please register at the link below using the sponsor code ACH.

Akron blood drives are held in the Considine Professional Building, 1st floor, 8am - 4pm

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month - Donors are needed to help ensure blood and platelets are on the shelves for cancer patients and others who rely on transfusions for care.

Those who come to give Oct. 1-31 will receive a $5 E-Gift Card to a merchant of their choice, see rcblood.org/boo.

Sickle Cell Trait Screening – The Red Cross is now screening donations from self-identified African American blood donors for Hemoglobin S, a key indicator of sickle cell trait. This screening, which may provide our donors with valuable health insights, will be part of the blood donation testing process and free of charge to donors.
