- ➤ Jalen Jackson, 24, pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter in a wrong-way crash on Interstate 90 that killed Akron doctor Curtis Birchall—an emergency room physician who also ran an anti-aging clinic. He was sentenced in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court on Wednesday and faces 26—34 years in prison with no possibility of early release. FOX 8
