- ➤ Akron Zoo moved many animals indoors with air conditioning and added pools, fans and ice blocks to help them beat the heat as temperatures climb into the mid-90s. - ➤ First responders continued a recovery effort in Cuyahoga Falls after a father went missing Saturday when his raft overturned on the Cuyahoga River as he tried to save his 5-year-old son—whose body was found Sunday morning—while his family was tubing together. News 5 Cleveland

GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Akron City Council approved a $250,000 pilot program to help renters facing eviction by providing legal aid from Community Legal Aid—eligible renters must be within seven days of eviction and meet poverty guidelines, including families with minor children and disabled seniors.
