World War II veterans Bill Stiller and Ray Johns are turning 100—sharing memories of their service during the celebration of this milestone.

Former No. 1 overall pick Travis Bazzana was promoted from Double-A Akron to Triple-A Columbus by the Guardians on August 10th — he returned on July 18th after missing nearly two months and posted good numbers.

Other top prospects, including catcher Cooper Ingle, also moved up from Akron.
